GM a staple company of America for the past 101 years has declared bankruptcy and the market rallies 200 points. Ok, thats slightly crazy but then GM's stock which is now WORTHLESS is up 18%. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!! It's the market, it does crazy things. People must be concerned though right? Well lets find out. Using Google trends we can see how many people are searching for GM Bankrupt

Well ok it's our president can't fault them for that. The next few will really just make you want to move to Canada.

Kris Allen(the AI winner)= Above 100! ( More people care about the winner of a horrible TV show, where all they do is get people to butcher already horrible songs)
Real Housewives of New Jersey= 100! (WHAT!, more people care about 5 women who were born the same time GM's first car came out!)
So there you have it, this country is more concerned about crappy tv shows then the downfall of one of the most iconic American companies. So when you are looking at this market going "How can this keep going up", don't be so shocked.
